Physical training

I have gone into intensive physical training, 3 times aweek i go boxing with Wolverhamton star Nicolai Klindt and with my Sparrings partner Luke Corbett
Monday Boxing, Tuesday Work-Out, Wedsday Work-Out, Thursday Boxing, Friday Work-Out, Saturday Boxing. all of Sunday is used in the workshop building new bikes with parts that arrive during the week.

Testing

 

  • Team NGR were at Silkeborg speedway center this weekend testing new engines and setups on the 2 England bikes. Overall, the track was pretty decent, but in some places very deep.
    Nicki started out testing the bike with the JRM engine, which has been assembled especially for his English hometrack. It turned out that this engine was surprisingly good at starts, and had good traction on the otherwise deep track. The gearing and length were adjusted a few times, and after a few practice runs he felt comfortable with the new setup. Nicki made some good starts and clocked up some decent laps. The test showed that the bikes had been setup fairly well, only needing small adjustments on the trackside. Overall, a good result on the JRM.
    His second bike, with the new GM, was also tested. It proved to be a very strong engine, but had a lot of spin to it – unfortunately time wasn’t on our side so we didn’t quite find the right setup for this engine on the day.
    Team NGR is planning to do more testing on the bikes, before they get used in action in England.

Workshop

New Stuha frames from Classic Race.

I have started to fit my 2 new bikes to be to England. I have chosen to Stuha front forks as adjustable, which is quite new for me, so I am looking to test the English tracks.
I continue LZ clutchs, which I am very happy with.
Classic Race has created a new Jawa engine specially to my home which I am very excited to get tested.

Suit and the cover is designed.

Now I just wait on my new wheels and FIM guards.

FGM has made a GM engine to the long and deep tracks.
